Dr. Nicole Wadsworth is the dean of New York Institute of Technology’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, with campuses in Old Westbury and Jonesboro, Arkansas. She previously held the positions of site dean and senior associate dean for NYITCOM. In July 2024, she also took on the role of interim dean of New York Tech’s School of Health Professions.

Before her tenure at New York Tech, which began in 2018, Wadsworth served as associate dean of academic affairs at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Over her 17 years there, she held various faculty and administrative roles and was the administrative principal of the “Pathways to Health and Wellness Curriculum,” successfully enhancing the curriculum with faculty collaboration.

Dr. Wadsworth is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and a prominent national speaker. Her presentations have focused on providing optimal care for LGBTQ+ patients, integrating multicultural medicine into medical training, and other vital topics.

She is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians and participates in various committees of the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as the foundational competencies committee of the Association of American Medical Colleges.

Her educational interests encompass curriculum development, interprofessional education, simulation in medical education, and board exam preparation, particularly aimed at assisting medical students facing academic challenges.
