In a comprehensive analysis conducted by SmileHub, a nonprofit organization dedicated to health awareness, a ranking of the states with the poorest health and wellness outcomes has been released based on 23 key health metrics. These metrics evaluate factors such as community health conditions, healthcare access, and personal wellness activities.
According to the study, each state was rated on a 100-point scale, comprising three primary categories: community health baselines (35 points), healthcare access (50 points), and personal health & wellness activity (15 points). This grading system provides a detailed insight into the health challenges faced by states across the nation.
Community Health Baselines
Community health baselines evaluate critical factors affecting population health, including:

The second part of the study centers on healthcare access, taking into account:

Lastly, the study assessed personal health activities, covering:
